For more than 25 years, Susan Raridon Lambreth has been internationally recognized as one of the top leadership and practice management consultants for law firms. She has helped many of the largest firms in the U.S. implement strong practice management and has taught over 5,000 law firm and practice leaders how to lead and manage more effectively.
Over the past two decades, Susan was on the cutting edge of helping law firms continue their evolution from managing primarily at the firm level to managing at the department and practice group level and now to managing at the matter/project level. Her work on this evolution over the past decade is evidenced in the many books she has written. Her most recent book, published by the American Bar Association and co-autored with David Rueff, is entitled The Power of Legal Project Management: A Practical Handbook. It is the most comprehensive book written to date on LPM. For information, click here. She has also written leading books on practice group management, Achieving Peak Performance Through Practice Management: A Practical Handbook and The Practice Group Leader’s Handbook for Success.
Currently, Susan is working with two co-authors on writing a desk book for lawyers on LPM, which will also be the leading textbook for law students on LPM. In the area of practice group management, she and Wendy Bernero are writing a new book for the Ark Group for law firm management on trends and best practices in practice management. They are also writing a new handbook for Practice Group Leaders, based on Susan's top-selling Practice Group Leader's Handbook for Success.
